ይህ ማህበር ከማንኛውም የዘር ፣የፖለቲካና የሐይማኖት አመለካከት ልዩነቶች ነፃ የሆነ ነው::
የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረ በግራንድ ራፒድስ እና አካባቢዋ የማህበሩን አባላት ለማስተማር : ለማብቃትና: ጥቅማቸውን ለማስጠበቅ በምዕራብ ሚሺጋን ተግቶ ይሰራል::
የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረ በግራንድ ራፒድስ የአባላቱ ብዝሃነት ስብጥር : ኢትዮጵያውያን እርስበርሳቸው ያላቸውን የአብሮነት ትስስር ለመላው የሚሺገን ህዝብ ለማሳየት ባህላዊ ዝግጅቶችን እያዘጋጀ የኢትዮጵያዊያንን ባህላዊ ትውፊት ያስተዋዉቃል::
የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረ በግራንድ ራፒድስ ማህበራዊ ትስስርን በማጠናከር የግለሰቦች ዕድገት ላይ አበክሮ ይሰራል:: እንዲሁም ጤናማ የቤተሰብ እና የማህበራዊ ግንኙነቶች በማጎልበት ብቃት ያለው ማህበረሰብ ለማፍራት በትኩረት ይሰራል::
የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረ በግራንድ ራፒድስ አዲሱን የኢትዮጵያዊያን ትውልድ በበቂ መረጃ እያዳበረ በምዕራብ ሚሽገን አካባቢያቸውን መስለው እንዲኖሩ ያመቻቻል:: ይህም ሲሆን ኢትዮጵያ ያካበተችውን የ፴፻ በላይ ዓመታት ታሪክና ባህልን አፅንኦት ሰጥቶ በማስተማር ጭምር ይሆናል::
Our Mission
ECAGR is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious civic organization created to serve Ethiopians and Ethiopian-Americans in the Greater Grand Rapids Metropolitan area. Through social, cultural, and philanthropic means ECAGR helps to educate, empower, and advocate for members within its community. Our diverse membership reflects the rich diversity of Ethiopia with an emphasis on being an advocate for Ethiopians and
Ethiopian-Americans in West Michigan.
ECAGR helps to promote understanding and harmony between and among Ethiopians and members of the wider West Michigan community by creating cultural events and educational workshops as well as participating in programs to help promote the organization.
ECAGR assists in the promotion of personal growth, networking, financial stability, positive family, community relations, and community empowerment.
ECAGR also supports in the facilitation and integration of the next Ethiopian generation to create a strong, well informed and connected Ethiopian-American community in West Michigan while honoring and preserving their more than 3,000 year old shared ancient and rich cultural heritage.
